God is pulling on my heart..
Have you ever felt that you were put on this Earth for a certain reason? Whether it be to be a nurse, or a doctor, or a Pastor, or any other millions of reasons they have out there. Well, for me, that is taking care of children. Since i can remember i have loved taking care of children. I started babysitting when i was 11 and have continued to do so through the years and have just LOVED every single minute i get to spend with those precious gifts from God. I love helping them feel important and loved. I actually don’t mind sitting down w/ them and watching a good cartoon, or reading to them, doing puzzles, or..*gasp* fingure painting!
Right now i work at a Dental office, and I have to admit, i have a great job. I work with great people and get to meet some wonderful people and hear and see a lot of different walks of life. But, my heart is wanting, so badly, to spend my days with children. If i could make a living being a nanny, i would, in a heart beat. I am really hoping and praying that God puts a family in my life who are looking for a reliable person to watch their kids from time to time. I got the amazing chance to watch some young boys this last week, and i left that house, the happiest i have been in a very long time. She kept thanking me for coming over, but I was way more thankful to her for giving me the opportunity to spend time w/ her boys, to trust me w/ her children, what an HONOR! I hope I get the chance to help another couple out sometime soon! But until than, i will work where i am working and be perfectly happy!
God is so good.
Fall Update 2009
Wow! So i hate to say it, but i kind of forgot about my blog! It has been a little over a month since i last blogged, and quite a bit has happened! I will try to sum it up w/ pictures, cause i am having a total writers block!

In the beginning of October my oldest sister Julie came to Missoula from Bozeman to run the Diva run 5k with me! She was so awesome and stuck w/ me the whole time, when i know she could of finished it waaaay faster! It was such an amazing experience to cross that finish line with my sister. Definetly an awesome bonding experience!

I (jacque) went hunting for the first time! Well, i didn’t go to kill anything, but I went along to just be w/ my husband and see what this hunting business is all about! It was fun and interesting! We got there in the dark and laid down in the woods and stared at an open hillside. Three things went through my head while we were laying there: 1. This is the perfect place to get attacked by a Grizzly. 2. Goodness i hope i don’t have to go to the bathroom while we are out here. 3. I could seriously fall asleep right now if it warmed up and i wasn’t freezing. Haha! We didn’t get attacked by a Grizzly..so that was nice. But, i did end up having to go to the bathroom. I was soooo trying to hold it in, and that just didn’t happen. It made me feel bad that dogs have to go potty outside. haha:) But all in all it was a fun day hiking around the woods w/ my husband and my mom and dad!

This last weekend was Military Appreciation Day at the University of Montana Grizzlies football game. They brought out a flag that covered the whole entire football field! It was so amazing seeing everyone on their feet paying respect to such an amazing symbol of freedom. After the National Anthem got done 2 F15s flew over the stadium! That was awesome! Here are a couple more pictures from that Griz game.

Me and my Veteran!

Me and one of Andrews cousin, Kinsey, at the game!

Maya loved Andrews hat!!

I just love her cheeks!! Such a beautiful little girl!
One weekend in October we headed over to Bozeman to see my sister and her family! I needed to get my baby fix and to see my sister, it sure is hard not living very close to my sisters! Julie and I got to go shopping and go to a Womens Expo as well! That was so much fun spending the day with her!
I think that pretty much sums up the past month for andrew and I. We don’t really have exciting lives! haha! We have pretty much just been busy with work, school, friends, family, and church! Speaking of church, on wednesdays Andrew and I volunteered to help out with AWANA. For those of you who were brought up in church, know what that is. It stands for: Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed. We are helping out with the Sparkys, which is grades kindergarten to 2nd grade. It is so much fun helping them learn the Word of God. Hearing their little voices saying verses and learning about Jesus touches my heart so much. One night I asked a little girl “How do you become a Christian?” and she looked at me w/ this very serious, honest face and said “You have to tell the Truth!!” SO CUTE! I went on to ask her “Yesssss, but what do you have to tell the truth about?” and she said “About Jesus and that he Loves everybody!” So adorable! I hope she keeps that innocence and Faith throughout her whole life.
I think thats all for now! Hope everyone has a wonderful Holiday Season!
A Loving Embrace
As the summer comes to an end, I thought I would write about one of the many highlights that happened this summer.
On friday, august 21st I got off of work and headed to Bozeman to go see my sisters and to pick up my middle sister, Erin and my darling nephew, Liam. I called my oldest sister, Julie, to let her know I was getting close and she said they were at a nearby park. I drove up to the park, parked my car, and got out to look for them. The park was a lot bigger than I thought! As I stood there looking for them, I saw a little flash of black and white running towards me! As I looked harder and that little flash got closer, I realized it was my niece, Ella! She was running so fast, with her arms wide open to give me a great big hug! I could feel tears welling up inside of me! She got up to me and wrapped her arms around my neck and said ‘it’s so good to see you Aunt Jacque!’ I felt so much love and so much happiness in that little girls embrace! It made me think about what it is going to be like when we get to Heaven and see Jesus for the first time! Can you imagine the overwhelming love, excitement, and happiness we are gonna have when we get there!? I can’t imagine how happy Jesus is going to be when he sees his people running towards him with their arms wide open and saying ‘ it is so good to see you Jesus!’
My niece did more for me in that loving embrace than her innocent 3 yr old heart probably realizes! I love being an aunt, I absolutely light up when I see my sisters Blessings from God. I can’t wait until I get to see my own someday!
Here is a picture of my darling niece, she isn’t so little anymore! She is a little lady! And if I might add, I bought that outfit for her!
Go Griz!
This saturday Andrew and I got the chance to kick off our fall season at Washington Grizzley Stadium watching the Grizzlies kick portland states bootays! They won the game 49-17. Such a fun game!! Never a dull moment in football! Here are some pictures from our day.

We can’t go to a Griz game w/o our signature self portrait:)

Benny the Bull used to be our mascot for the Grizzlies! He won the Capital One Mascot of the year award a couple years ago. He went on to be ‘Famous’ and be the mascot for the Chicago Bulls! It is always fun when he comes back to visit.

Here they come!! So awesome seeing those guys come out of the Griz helmet! Everyone in the stadium on their feet going wild! I HIGHLY recommend going to one of these games if you are ever in Montana during football season.

After the game Andrew and I made dinner for my parents, kind of becoming a tradition after games to come over to our house for dinner! Such a Blessing to be able to do that w/ our familes! For dessert I made a chocolate fudge zucchini cake, from scratch!! I was a little nervous for everyone to try it because it was the first cake i have ever made from scratch, but everyone LOVED it!!! Definetily a recipe i will continue to use!
Labor day weekend!
This Labor Day weekend we went to Andrews parents cabin! It was a good weekend, hard, but good. I am so Blessed to be a part of such a wonderful, Godly family! We went to lay Andrews Aunt Chris Ann to rest. She passed away very suddenly on July 10th, 2009. She left way too suddenly, and we miss her so much. We know she is in Heaven though with Jesus, and that is so calming to know! Here are some pictures of the weekend!

This is one of my favorite pictures. Tana wanted to be right next to Andrew while he fished! So cute!

I saw a snake and HAD to catch it! Me and my sister Erin used to find Gardener Snakes in our backyard and collect them. So i had to get a picture for old times sake! ![]()

This picture is one in a million! Our dog, Tana, does NOT like water! But she saw Andrew go out in the water, and HAD to follow him! I caught the picture right as she was second guessing herself and turning back. She is so funny!

These girls are amazing. They have the most amazing Mom, whom I am so Blessed to have met and spend so many memories and laughs with. Her legacy lives on through her absolutely wonderful 3 daughters!

On our way home we stopped at the Sweet Palace in Philipsburg, MT. That place was so much fun! They had 72 different types of Salt Water Taffy, which is my absolute FAVORITE! It was a great ending to a fun and rewarding trip:)
